Brooke Vu, representing the city of Myrtle Beach, placed First-Runner Up at the 2024 Miss South Carolina Pageant. This year, Brooke was awarded $12,000 in educational scholarships. Since the beginning of Brooke's involvement in the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization, Brooke has been awarded over $45,000 in scholarship and became a first-gen college student, graduating 100% debt-free because of the Miss America Opportunity.

Brooke Vu is awarded the 2024 Quality of Life Award
At the 2024 Miss South Carolina Pageant, Brooke Vu was awarded the inaugural Jada Samuel Quality of Life Award. In the Miss America Opportunity, the Quality of Life Award is the most distinguished recognition and is given to a contestant who excels in their commitment to community service.
